Some of you know that I’ve started the process to getting gastric surgery. I was supposed to have my first appt the other day, but unfortunately it didn’t come to pass. It was a minor error and I found out I have to go to the office instead of an over the phone appt. One week stands between me and the consultation. I’ll be sure to let you know how it goes. I’m growing more and more excited to see my life changes this year and this one is pretty big for me.
I’ve also been thinking a lot about my dream house. The tiny “mansion”. It’s not a clever name, but once I own it I’ll feel out a better name for it. Most people don’t name their house huh? It’s ok, just let it happen. Anyway, I don’t know if I’ve ever mentioned it before, but there is a program called Homestyler where you can design and decorate rooms. It’s not a child’s game, it’s really cool in fact. You can put in the dimensions of a room in your house, fill it with whatever normally goes in said room and design it the way you’d like to see it. For those who want to renovate a room or a house, try it out and see how amazing it i. The site is what I’ve been using to design my house. I just re-designed the tiny house with windows, furniture, doors, molding, paint, decor, the whole nine! It’s beautiful. You’re going to have to take my word for it (you’d be impressed for sure). It makes me excited and anxious. I know I will one day have the home built and move in–I just don’t know when that will be. I’m hoping and praying it will be within the next year or two. To be honest, I don’t see it happening until I start growing more readers of books. The life of a self-published author. Don’t worry, I’ll keep you updated on that as well.
